thx bro)
Looks interesting and promising. But i have to ask...
Is there any chance to get it via itchio and get a steam key that way? Germany sadly blocks the game so no chance for me to get it otherwise.
Hello! We will think about how to solve the problem of purchasing the game on Steam for those countries where it is not possible to buy it directly.
Hopefully it'll work out. Looking forward to it. And thanks!
Will the game support more languages than it's stated on Steam? According to the list, the game will support niche languages with barely any user base, but more popular ones such as Korean, Latam Spanish, and Polish are missing. With current ones for me, it's a hard pass.
https://store.steampowered.com/hwsurvey/Steam-Hardware-Software-Survey-Welcome-t...
as for April 2025:
Polish - 9th most popular language on Steam
Korean - 11th
And yet the game will future 16 languages, that are on spots such as 22th, 17th, 19th, wierd choice.
Unfortunately, we cannot say anything definitive at the moment. Currently, we do not have qualified translators for all possible languages, especially for Korean. Due to the rather controversial release of *Summer for You* in the Korean market, we are approaching translations into this language, as well as the publication of our products in this country, with great caution.
How about the other languages I mentioned, tho? After just looking through the language list, I was just surprised (and kinda confused), and I also didn't see any information about looking for volunteers, so I decided to write a little advice since it looks like you need it, because if you hired someone, you are pouring money down the drain.
Why would anyone choose Danish (22nd place; nobody includes this language in their games; it's like a second time I ever see it in a game), Czech (17th place), Portuguese (Portugal) (19th place), Ukrainian (14th+low prices of games, low salaries), Thai (13th+low prices of games) over Polish (with a high user base and high prices), Spanish LATAM (which is popular in the gaming industry), or Arabic (which is also popular in the gaming industry, but Steam doesn't support it, so that's why it shows 0% of users)? These even have way more speakers than languages you've chosen. It's just unreasonable. It seems you picked the languages totally randomly or due to personal taste, or should I say "distaste." Even English proficiency doesn't seem to be a factor here. Like, come on. And basing languages off your one game's revenue is not a smart move either, especially if you're going to localize the game for such niche, in fact very niche markets.
Your previous game supported Polish and LATAM, and according to the AI usage notice, it wasn't an AI translation, so you DO KNOW someone that can translate your new game into these languages.
Dear friend, the list of supported languages at the moment is not final. Everything can change drastically if we find the necessary translators. Our team will be working on this, so you don’t need to worry. Moreover, the game is currently in the early stages of development, and no one has started working on translating the in-game text yet, as it is not complete. Once we begin localization, we will post a message on our Discord server about recruiting translators. Besides, Polish is also in our plans, and it was likely just overlooked and forgotten in the initial language list.
Wow. This looks promising. And... am I the first to comment this? I hope I really am.
Yes, bro ... you are the first!
